Core Competencies Sdn. Bhd. (CCSB) and its technology partners, Malaysian Institute for Nuclear Technology Research (MINT) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has been working closely in developing the RDF Research Centre (RDF RC). Among the research activities that have been conducted are as follows:
- Study on Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Generation and Composition at Kuala Lumpur transfer station, Kajang and Ampang Jaya.
- Performance of RDF Plant and emission monitoring.
- Development of RDF Pellets for Industrial / Commercial usage.
- Development of a Knowledge-Based Life Cycle Assessment of MSW Management and Recycling System in Malaysia.
